This is Ivy.  I know you probably think that it's wierd that I have my shirt off in this picture, but at the time this picture was taken (summer of 2002) she was not in my class.  I was at her parents wedding, and she was only 5 at the time.  She'll be in my classroom in the 03-04 school year.

I'm a big fan of the name Ivy because my sister (Shannon Marie) just had a child in August (24, 2002).  Her name is Also- Ivy Marie.  So i think it's pretty much the coolest name right about now.

This was up in Canada this winter.  This was one of the first times i'd seen snow fall, and it was on Christmas, so i had my first white x-mas.... it was very exciting for me...
